Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for more than 20 years. Her most famous role was as Skyler on the AMC drama Breaking Bad. She won Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Performance in a Drama Series for 2013 and 2014. She has also played Jean Ward in The Practice as well as Martha Bullock in Deadwood. The actress was born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in 1968 Anna Gunn fell in love with acting during Preparatory School, before her family moved to Ohio in the late 1970's. She was a theatre student in the theatre department at Northwestern University and spent a period at the British American Drama Academy. Anna worked in Chicago's theatre for several years, before trying out for film and TV roles. Anna got her big break in the year 1992, when she portrayed Arden in 29 episodes of Down the Shore. After appearing as a Guest Star in several TV Shows and movies, including Seinfeld and NYPD Blue during the 90's She was then given the role of Jean Ward as part of The Practice. Martha Bullock, a character which she played for two years during Deadwood's 2nd season. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully as well as Deadwood was also an integral an integral part of her professional career. Gunn played in David Schwimmer's Sex With Strangers, a production produced by David Schwimmer. The actress starred as Numbered Days, a four-part audio series that was released set in 2022. Breaking Bad often revolves around Walter White and Skyler's relationship. The strains and eventual demise mirror the last few seasons in the story of Walter White.
